We’re now at 50 qualified players for placement in the next season of the World Amateur Mahjong League. If we made it all the way to 63, this is what the current results would give, assuming the players not yet up to 20 games play enough by the end of December.
Osamu wanted me to remind you how to participate in the league. It’s very simple…
- Play in Lobby 7447. Play often. Win often.
- Use the same ID to accumulate points.
- Game scores are padded with an extra +30 this season, meaning you could still gain a positive score if you don’t lose by too much.
- No registration or sign-up procedure required to join us, aside from what you would do on Tenhou itself. (Keep a copy of your ID code available in case something happens to your computer.
- This preliminary season (Season 0) will last until Dec. 31, 23:59 Tenhou time.
- If you wait before participating, you will only be able to climb one division at a time, barring a special exception to be announced in January. We’re already growing from 2 to 3 divisions, therefore the longer you wait, the longer it will take to climb to the top.
